Digital Marketing Manager (click to expand)

Summary of Position
The Digital Marketing Manager oversees the digital marketing team for planning, building, executing, and analyzing digital marketing campaigns in English and Spanish to publish in various online channels such as emails, website, social media and ads in efforts to communicate the Oblate charism and increase donation to support the Oblate Ministries who serve the poor and most abandoned people in the United States and 70 countries around the world.

Provides support for the digital marketing team by executing and tracking seamless digital marketing campaigns utilizing the MailChimp email platform, social media tools, and website landing pages. Performs audience segmentation and management, tagging and automation in MailChimp to optimize audiences for personalized email campaigns. Schedules and posts content and graphics, optimizes SEO and keywords, and monitors ad spending and results to ensure continuous improvement in our digital marketing efforts.

Banquet Cook – Part Time (click to expand)

Summary of Position

This individual will be responsible for preparing and serving tasty and nutritious meals on time. Tasks include preparation and serving of food, attention to guest needs during meals. Ensures clean-up, sanitation, and safety procedures in the kitchen. This person will be required to work most weekends.

Professor of Moral Theology (click to expand)

Summary of Position
The candidate should possess a firm commitment to the robust Catholic moral tradition that is both attentive and responsive to the complex ethical challenges confronting the Church as it proclaims the gospel. Research in a variety of specializations and issues is welcome, including, but not limited to, areas such as social justice, migration, the environment, health care, family life, and the dignity of the human person in community. Critical scholarship in service of the pastoral needs of the Church and the Catholic faithful is particularly valued. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach a sequence of masters-level courses in Foundations of Moral Theology, Bioethics and Health Care, Theology of Human Sexuality, and Catholic Social Teaching. Teaching responsibilities also include elective courses in one’s area of expertise.

The candidate should be a Roman Catholic priest in good standing with a firm commitment to the Catholic sacramental and liturgical tradition who is both attentive and responsive to the complex cultural and pastoral challenges confronting the Church as it proclaims the gospel. A robust research agenda in any of the sub-specializations of liturgical and sacramental theology is welcome. The ideal candidate will be closely attentive to the diverse pastoral and liturgical needs of the Church and will be prepared to teach a sequence of masters-level courses in Eucharist and Sacraments of Healing, including relevant practica.

Circulation Clerk – Part Time (click to expand)

Summary of Position
Responsible for being the main link to the library patrons and public and often is the primary
representative of the school to visitors. Is on site on the library’s main floor at the Circulation desk.
Is responsible for maintaining the circulation records of all library materials and patrons. Is available to
assist the patrons with WorldCat Discovery and other library databases. Opens and closes the library
accordingly during hours of operation. Checks out and checks in books and other materials available for
circulation. Maintains records and reports that relate to circulation, i.e., patron records, circulation
statistics, etc. Maintains TexShare program and reports usage of the same to TexShare annually.
Is always available to assist patrons regarding circulation material; this includes taking the patron to the
circulation areas (if feasible) when the patron is new to the library. Is part of the Orientation Team when
the library hosts new patrons. Maintain the newspaper rack and select serials in the library’s main room.
Oversees the need for newspaper recycling. Assists the General Services Manager with displaying journals,
as necessary. Is responsible for the distribution of incoming daily mail. Sends out mail and e-mail notices
regarding overdue books and outstanding balances. Collect fees for overdue books and copy machine use
and maintain records. Maintains the Reserve Book Collection: this includes getting book lists from
Instructors and professors, retrieving them from the shelves, placing them on the Reserve Shelves, and
overseeing the use of these books for patrons in accordance with the directives of the Library Handbook.
Only the Circulation Clerk is allowed in the Reserved Book Collection area. Oversees the use of the
scanner and computers in the library’s Main Room and reports any abuses of the scanner and computers to
the Director. Oversee the use of the copy machine in the library’s main room. Maintains the library’s Main
Room and is responsible for its neatness and general appearance. Assists the Cataloger with book
processing and must be able to lift 25-30-pound boxes. Is available for library needs at the request of the
Director.

Technical Assistant – Part Time (click to expand)

Summary of Position
This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within
these departments by assisting with technical and event coordination. Provide
technical support for event streams, operating streaming equipment and software.
Provide support for online learning platforms and assist students with access issues,
on campus and remotely. Attend in-person CE events, assisting with technical event
coordination and distribution of learning materials. Maintain open communication
with the Director of Continuing Education, Whitley Theological Center
representatives, and program stakeholders. Day-to-day communication with the
Department of Continuing Education team, working closely to ensure deliverables.
Provide technical support for class streams, operating streaming equipment and
software. Assist Faculty and students with access issues, on campus and remote

Summary of Position
The Cook assists with the preparation of food to be served at IHM Oblate
Residence complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene
standards and following established food production programs and procedures Is
also responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies. Prepares food to be
served using established production procedures and systems; determines amount
and type of food and supplies required and ensures availability of supplies and
food. Sets steam table; serves or ensures proper serving of food for tray line or
dining room. Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene
and health standards. Observes proper food preparation and handling techniques.
Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item. Reports necessary
equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor. Correctly prepares all food
served following standard recipes and special diet orders. Assists with food
production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality,
temperature and appearance of food are preserved. Write down on Grocery List
food items that need to be ordered on a weekly basis. Keeps work area neat and
clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment, storerooms, freezer and cooler
used in food preparation. Completes food temperature checks before service.
Makes sure food is pulled for upcoming meal. Takes out trash, helps dishwasher
and locks up the kitchen each evening. Reports any damages or malfunctions to
the Manager.
