On a much lighter note, Bro. Richard Coté, OMI sent in this photo of a special treat for youngsters after Easter services at the Shrine of St. Joseph.
“Is it a Bird, is it a Plane? no it’s the Easter Bunny who showed up after each of the three Easter Sunday Masses at St. Joseph the Worker Shrine in Lowell, MA. Mr. Bunny a.k.a. Oblate Associate David Lazu took time off from his duties as Sacristan at the Shrine to offer a treat to young and young at heart as they left Mass on Easter Sunday.
Holy Week saw an increase of the faithful to Confessions that were heard by the four Shrine priests as well as the Wednesday evening Lenten extra Confessions. Also, a significant number of visitors came to see the work of the missionary Oblates on display at the Oblate Historical Museum which was open during the Triduum.”
