Report from Faith Invest on COP28 Meeting in Dubai

As one of the founding members of Faith Invest, one of the benefits that OMI USA JPIC receives is the reports/reflections by their team from some of the many events that they participate in. This report is prepared by Lorna Gold, Faith Invest CEO and highlights the Faith presence at COP28. She also mentions how the FIRST ever Faith Pavilion at a COP conference amplified Faith voices and promoted advocacy and active collaboration.

In the midst of the frenetic COP negotiations, the Faith Pavilion was a valuable space on many levels. The space was a welcome oasis where people of faith and secular civil society could discuss important initiatives that align to an integral, faith-based approach and reflect together on the shared values and vision we hold in caring for God’s earth.
