Several trees were recently planted at OMIUSA property in Washington, DC by Laudato Trees program, in partnership with local nonprofit Casey Trees.

The collaborative effort seeks out Catholic locations to plant trees to increase green spaces around Washington, DC and “as a way to more deeply ingrain Laudato Si’ and church teachings around environmental justice across the Washington Archdiocese.”
