Fr. Ron Rolheiser Lecture Series | Living in the Light and the Truth – Discipleship 101 and the Honors Program

How do the Gospels describe discipleship? What does Jesus ask of us in terms of the raw essentials – and what does he invite us to in terms a fuller maturity? What models do the various Gospels propose? Does one size fit all? Reflections on discipleship in the various Gospels.

Presenter

Ron Rolheiser, OMI is a Roman Catholic priest, member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, and served as president of Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas for the fifteen years before retiring from that position in September 2020. He remains a fulltime faculty member at OST. Rolheiser is a theologian, professor, and award-winning author. Apart from his academic knowledge in systematic theology and philosophy, he has become a popular speaker in contemporary spirituality and religion and the secular world. He writes a weekly column that is carried in many newspapers around the world. He is a popular speaker in the areas of contemporary spirituality and religion and the secular world. Lecture Dates

All lectures will take place on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Central Time, ONLINE via Zoom.

Registration Fee: $45

Individuals can register to participate online, via Zoom Webinar, or in person, on the OST campus/WTC 101. Fee includes cost for entire 3-week series.

For those participating online: You will be able to connect to the Zoom Webinar using the Eventbrite online event page. Access will be granted upon registration for this series.

In-person participants are encouraged to bring a light jacket or shawl, a writing pad and pen, and a reusable water bottle and/or coffee mug.
