The first major biography of Cardinal Frances E. George, OMI by Michael R. Heinlein is scheduled for release in paperback on March 6, 2023. The book details the life of Cardinal George from his birth in Chicago in 1937, through his bout with childhood polio, his rejection for admission to the diocesan seminary due to his physical infirmity, his ultimate acceptance into formation with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, through his time as Cardinal Archbishop of Chicago.
