SAN ANTONIO- Members of the Our Lady of the Lake University community gathered in the small newly constructed Constantineau Chapel to witness Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, M.Sp.S. of the Archdiocese of San Antonio bless the Chapel during Mass on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

The newly constructed chapel is named after after Rev. Henry A. Constantineau, O.M.I., a priest of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Constantineau served as the first president of OLLU from 1911-1940.

OLLU Chaplain, Rev. Kevin Fausz, CM gave the homily and remarked that, “We come to this place so that our hearts can be fed and can be nourished, and be one with Jesus Christ. That is the purpose of this room. So that we can come and encounter Jesus Christ.”
