Diaconate Ordination Includes Two Oblate Scholastics

Scholastic Brothers Ulises Silva and Feliciano Lopez-Ortiz were ordained to the Diaconate along with six others by Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, M.Sp.S. on November 14, 2014 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower in San Antonio, Texas. 

The Oblates held a celebration for the two new Deacons at the George Sexton House of Studies in San Antonio on November 15.

 A Total of Seven Men Were Ordained Deacons

Br. Feliciano Lopez-Ortiz, OMI

  

 Brother Feliciano Lopez-Ortiz, OMI was born in El Carrizo, Mexico and is presently serving his pastoral year at Our Lady of Refuge Parish in Roma, Texas. His priestly ordination is scheduled for May 22, 2015 in San Antonio.  

 

Br. Ulises Silva, OMI

Brother Ulises Silva, OMI comes from Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco, Mexico. He is completing his Theology studies at Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio and hopes to be ordained in his home province of Mexico in 2015.
