2014 Southwest Area Jubilee

Nineteen Oblates were honored on April 29 during a Jubilee Celebration at the Immaculate Conception Memorial Chapel in San Antonio, Texas.

The evening began with Mass celebrated by Fr. Patrick Guidon, O.M.I. Superior of the Oblate Benson Residence. Family and friends of the Oblates filled the large chapel. The Oblates were also joined by Bp. Joe Vasquez of the Diocese of Austin, Texas and Bp. Emeritus John Walter Yanta of the Diocese of Amarillo, Texas.

The Mass was followed by a lively celebration in the Louise Rumely Whitley Conference Center. Refreshments, Tex-Mex food and a variety of desserts were enjoyed by all.
